  • White vinegar
  • Borax laundry detergent
  • Old toothbrush
  • Laundry stain remover
  • Clothes iron

Getting Started

  1. Mix equal parts white vinegar and Borax laundry soap in a container.
  2. Using an old toothbrush, gently scrub the vinegar-Borax mixture on your stained swimsuit. Be sure to use small circular motions to ensure that you’re covering all of the stained area.
  3. Leave the mixture on the swimsuit for 15 minutes.
  4. Rinse the swimsuit out with cold water and then lay it flat to dry.
  5. Once the stain has been removed, apply a laundry stain remover to the affected area.
  6. Place the stained area of your swimsuit on top of an old towel and use a hot clothes iron to press down on stain. This will help set the stain remover into the fabric.
  7. Launder your swimsuit in cold water and then hang it up to air dry.
