1. Blot Stain

The best way to start any stain removal is to blot the area with a clean cloth or paper towel. If the stain is still wet, gently press the cloth onto the Keds, being careful not to rub or scrub the fabric. This will help remove any excess liquid from stain.

2. Treat with Detergent and Water

Create a solution of water and mild detergent. Gently apply a small amount of the solution to the stained area. Again, be sure not to rub or scrub the fabric as this can cause further damage and spread the stain. Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before blotting the area with a clean cloth to absorb the liquid.

3. Wash the Keds in the Washing Machine

Once you've removed the maximum amount of the wine stain, put your Keds in the washing machine on a gentle cycle using cold water and mild detergent. Don't forget to check the care instructions first and avoid using bleach or fabric softener. After cycle has finished, allow the Keds to air-dry. And voila – your stains should be gone!
