1. Treat the Stain Immediately

As soon as possible, pretreat the stain with a liquid detergent by dampening a cloth with the detergent and dabbing it onto the stain. Let it sit for 15 minutes then rinse spot with cool water.

2. Rinse the Stain with Club Soda

Rinse the stain with warm water and club soda, which helps to lift the stain. Rinse the area with a clean cloth soaked in cold water.

3. Wash Them in the Washing Machine

Put the joggers in washing machine using the hottest setting they can take. Add liquid detergent and a capful of bleach-free oxygen-based stain remover. Set the machine to the normal wash cycle and monitor.

4. Put Joggers in the Dryer

Once the joggers are done washing, put them in dryer on the hottest setting. As soon as the cycle is complete, air-dry the joggers or check to see if the stain has been removed.

5. Use Specialized Cleaners

If the stain persists after the described treatment, use a specialized cleaner designed for removing wine stains. Spray the cleaner onto the jogging pants and follow the directions on the bottle. If the stain still doesn't come out, repeat the process.

6. Re-wash & Re-dry

Once the stain has been removed, re-wash and re-dry the joggers one last time. They’re now ready to wear and look like new!
