What You Need

  • ¾ cup baking soda
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • A spray bottle
  • One quart of warm water
  • A clean hand towel

Instructions

  1. Mix the baking soda and white vinegar in the spray bottle. Be sure to shake well.
  2. Spray the stained garter generously with the solution.
  3. Let the solution sit for 30 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together one quart of warm water and a few drops of detergent.
  5. Soak the stained garter in the detergent solution for 30 minutes.
  6. After the 30 minutes, take the stain garter out and use the clean hand towel to gently rub away remaining residue.
  7. Rinse the garter with cold water and dry thoroughly.
