Removing Stain

  1. Soak the stained area in cold water for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Make a paste of one teaspoon of detergent and two teaspoons of warm water. Gently massage the paste into the fabric, avoiding the area around the stain.
  3. Let the paste sit for up to 10 minutes.
  4. Rinse the paste off with warm water.
  5. Repeat if necessary until the stain is completely gone.

Cleaning Rest of Flannel

After the stain is completely removed, you can use a washing machine to wash the rest of the flannel fabric. Place the fabric in the washing machine with other similar items and set the temperature to the desired setting. It’s usually best to use a mild detergent, but be sure to read the care label on the fabric. After it’s done, simply hang the fabric to dry.
