Dessert wines are often quite sweet and sticky, which can be a bit tricky when it comes to cleaning it up. Fortunately, if you’re dealing with dried-on dessert wine that’s stained your earplugs, there are a few things you can try.

First, soak your earplugs in lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent. Let them soak for at least an hour, then gently scrub the stains with a soft cloth or brush. This should help remove any remaining stains.

If that doesn't do the trick, you can try using a bit of rubbing alcohol on a cloth to gently rub away the stain. Keep in mind that this could damage the earplugs, so be sure to avoid excessive use of rubbing alcohol and test a small, hidden area before tackling the stain.

If that doesn't work, you can try using some vinegar. Soak the earplugs in a vinegar solution (one part vinegar and three parts water) for 30 minutes, then gently scrub away the stain with a soft cloth. Vinegar can be quite strong, so you may want to rinse the earplugs afterward with clean, lukewarm water.

Finally, if all else fails, you may want to try using a mild bleach solution. Be sure to test a small, hidden area of the earplugs first to make sure it won't discolor or damage them. Also keep in mind that you should never mix bleach with other cleaning products—use it by itself. Once the stain is gone, rinse the earplugs with clean, lukewarm water and let them air dry.

Following these simple steps should help you get those stubborn dessert wine stains out of your earplugs. Good luck!
