Eliminate Dessert Wine Stains from Your Collared Shirt like a Pro!

Steps to Clean the Stain

1. Dab the cloth with cold water and blot the stain. Do not rub the fabric as this can cause further damage.
2. Combine one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and one cup of warm water and mix it together. Moisten a terry cloth with this mixture and dab the stain.
3. Rinse affected area with cool water and gently press a clean, white cloth to remove solution.
4. Mix one tablespoon of vinegar with one cup of warm water and apply to stain.
5. Rinse the affected area with cool water then press a clean, white cloth against it to remove the vinegar solution.
6. Apply a laundry pre-treatment product like Shout or OxiClean and work it into the stain. Let it sit for five minutes.
7. Throw shirt in the washing machine and select the delicate cycle. Use a mild detergent and cool water.
8. Take out shirt and inspect it. If there is still a stain, repeat steps 1 through 7 until the stain is gone.

• Do not put the shirt in the dryer until you’re sure the stain is completely gone.
