What You’ll Need
- White vinegar
- A bucket of warm water
- Mild laundry detergent with enzymes
- Soft sponge
Instructions
- Dab the stained area with a clean dry cloth as soon as possible to remove as much of the wine as possible
- Mix one quart of warm water with half a cup of white vinegar
- Soak the stained area with the vinegar and water mix for about five minutes
- After five minutes, gently blot the stained area with a sponge soaked in the same vinegar and water mix
- Rinse off the area with lukewarm water
- Mix one quart of warm water with one teaspoon of gentle laundry detergent that contains enzymes
- Soak the stained area for about 30 minutes
- Gently blot the stained area with a sponge soaked in the same detergent and water mix
- Rinse off area with lukewarm water
- Let the canvas air dry or use a hairdryer if needed
