Pre-Treating the Stain:

Begin by gently blotting away excess liquid with a clean and dry towel. Continue this process until no more liquid can be absorbed. Never scrub or rub the stain, as this will just cause it to spread further.

Using a Detergent:

Next, apply some delicate detergent directly onto the stain, and let sit for ten minutes. After ten minutes, rinse the bra off with cool to lukewarm water, making sure all detergent is gone. Then place bra in the wash using the delicate setting, and use cold water. Once washing is complete, check to make sure all the stain is gone and air dry.

Using Vinegar and Water:

For an alternative method, mix together equal parts white vinegar, water, and a mild detergent into a bowl. Soak stained area in this solution for fifteen minutes, then rinse with cold water and place in the washer using the delicate cycle and cold water. Once washing is complete, check to make sure all the stain is gone and air dry.

Using Baking Soda:

Lastly, mix together three parts baking soda and one part water into a paste. Apply this paste directly onto the affected area, and let sit for about twenty minutes. Then rinse with cold water and proceed with washing instructions stated above.

Now you know how to get out sauce and dessert wine stains from your favorite bras!
