What You'll Need To Clean Dessert Wine Stains

  • ½ cup baking soda
  • 1 tbsp. Dawn dishwashing liquid soap
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • Small bowl
  • Sponge
  • Clean towels

Step 1: Make Baking Soda Paste

Combine the baking soda, Dawn dishwashing liquid soap, and white vinegar in a bowl to create a paste. Stir until a consistent paste has been achieved.

Step 2: Apply the Paste to the Stain

Using the sponge, apply the paste over the dessert wine stain. Let sit for 15 minutes.

Step 3: Clean Stain

Using a clean towel, carefully clean the stain. Be aware of any rubbing or scrubbing, as this may further damage the fabric of the backpack.

Step 4: Dry

Allow the backpack and the affected area to air dry.
