Gather Your Supplies
Before attempting to remove any stain, you'll need to gather the necessary supplies:
- Alpaca fabric cleaner or baby shampoo
- Clean white towels
- White cloths
- Plenty of warm water
- Vinegar
- Salt
Steps to Clean the Stain
- Mix equal parts vinegar and warm water and blot affected area with the mixture using a clean white cloth
- Mix equal parts salt and warm water and pour onto stain
- Leave solution on the stain for five minutes, and then rinse with a clean towel
- If the stain still remains, mix equal parts alpaca fabric cleaner or baby shampoo and warm water and saturate the area with the solution
- Let it sit for five minutes, and then rinse with a clean towel
- If the stain still remains, repeat steps 4 and 5 until the stain is gone
Additional Tips
- Always test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area before using it on stained area
- Do not scrub stain or use a brush as this may cause further damage to fabric
- Do not use hot water as this may cause the stain to set into the fabric
