Gather Your Supplies

Before attempting to remove any stain, you'll need to gather the necessary supplies:

  • Alpaca fabric cleaner or baby shampoo
  • Clean white towels
  • White cloths
  • Plenty of warm water
  • Vinegar
  • Salt

Steps to Clean the Stain

  1. Mix equal parts vinegar and warm water and blot affected area with the mixture using a clean white cloth
  2. Mix equal parts salt and warm water and pour onto stain
  3. Leave solution on the stain for five minutes, and then rinse with a clean towel
  4. If the stain still remains, mix equal parts alpaca fabric cleaner or baby shampoo and warm water and saturate the area with the solution
  5. Let it sit for five minutes, and then rinse with a clean towel
  6. If the stain still remains, repeat steps 4 and 5 until the stain is gone

Additional Tips

  • Always test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area before using it on stained area
  • Do not scrub stain or use a brush as this may cause further damage to fabric
  • Do not use hot water as this may cause the stain to set into the fabric
