Whether you're enjoying a mid-workout treat or simply relaxing after an intense workout, a glass of dessert wine can be a great way to treat yourself. Unfortunately, an accidental spill could turn your favorite activewear into a sticky mess – not only is it unsightly, but it can also whip the fun out of your wine drinking experience.

But don't despair! Cleaning dessert wine stains from activewear isn't as difficult as it may seem. Just follow these easy steps and you're sure to be back on track:

  • If the stain is still wet, blot it with a towel to remove as much of the liquid as possible.
  • Mix a solution of one cup of cool water and one teaspoon of mild laundry detergent. Apply the solution to the stained area with a soft cloth and let it sit for a few minutes.
  • Rinse the garment with cool water and check the stain to see if it has faded.
  • If the stain is still present, make a paste using equal parts washing soda and cool water. Rub the paste gently into stain and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  • Rinse off the paste and examine the stain. It should have been lifted. If it's still there, repeat the process until the stain is gone.
  • Finally, tumble dry the garment on the lowest heat setting or let it air dry.

And that's all there is to it! With these easy steps, you can make sure that your activewear stays stain-free and looking good. So the next time you go for that post-workout dessert wine, you know you'll be ready for any spills.
