Step 1: Blot

The first step to cleaning any spill is to blot stain. Remove excess liquid with a soft cloth and gently dab area. Do not rub the fabric as this can cause the stain to spread.

Step 2: Pre-Treat with Detergent

For best results, pre-treat the stain with a liquid detergent and lukewarm water. Using a microfiber cloth, work the detergent into the stain for about one minute, then rinse cloth in fresh lukewarm water and continue to dab the fabric. Be sure to keep the fabric damp but not wet.

Step 3: Use Vinegar and Water

Create a solution of one part white vinegar to two parts water. Apply solution to stained area and allow it to sit for five minutes or longer, depending on the severity of the stain. Rinse the fabric in clean lukewarm water, then blot dry.

Step 4: Wash and Dry

After pre-treating the stain and using the vinegar and water solution, wash the clothing in cold water according to the instructions on the label. Then, dry as usual. If the stain persists, repeat steps 1-4 until stain is completely gone.

Conclusion:

Cleaning dessert wine stains from Abercrombie & Fitch doesn't have to be a hassle. By following these simple steps, you can easily remove even toughest of stains and keep your favorite garments looking their best.
