Crayons and wallets are both popular items with kids, so it's not uncommon for crayons to end up on our wallets. The good news is that crayon stains are not permanent and can be removed from your wallet with a few simple steps.
Start by scraping off any excess crayon. Use a dull knife or spoon to gently scrape the crayon off fabric. If the wallet is made of leather, use a soft cloth instead.
Mix together 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 2 cups of warm water. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and blot the affected area.
Rinse the wallet with cold water and blot it dry with a soft cloth. Repeat the process until the stain is completely gone.
If the wallet is made of leather, apply a leather conditioner to the affected area. This will help restore the wallet's natural oils and improve its appearance.
