Mix a few drops of gentle, non-bleach detergent with lukewarm water and apply it directly to the stained area. Allow the mixture to sit for a few minutes before using a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the affected area. Rinse with warm water.
Fill a basin with lukewarm water and add a half cup of white vinegar. Place the stained fabric inside the basin and let it soak for at least 30 minutes. If the stain is still visible, repeat soaking and scrubbing until it has disappeared.
Place the twill fabric in the washing machine with a mild detergent and cold water. Set the temperature to warm and the cycle to delicate. Include a cup of white vinegar along with detergent in the load. Rinse in cold water once the cycle has finished.
Do not put the fabric in dryer as this may set stain. Instead, hang the fabric to air-dry in a well-ventilated space away from direct sunlight.
