The first step is to identify the type of fabric that your tunic is made out of. This will help you determine which cleaning method will work best for your garment. For example, if your tunic is made out of a cotton blend, then it is best to use a mild detergent and warm water. If, however, your tunic is made out of a delicate fabric like silk, then it is best to use a dry cleaning solution.
Once you have identified fabric, it is now time to start cleaning! If you are using a mild detergent and warm water, then fill a sink or basin with warm water and a small amount of the detergent. Soak the tunic in the solution for 15-20 minutes. After this, gently scrub the stained area to remove the crayon marks. Rinse the garment off in warm running water until the soap is completely gone.
If, however, you are using a dry cleaning solution for your tunic, then there are a few extra steps involved. First, dampen a cloth with the solution and dab stained area with it. Then, take a soft brush and gently scrub the area to loosen the stain. Finally, blot the area with a dry, clean cloth to absorb the solution and the stain.
