Gather Your Supplies

You’ll need a few basic household items to tackle crayon stain - liquid detergent, vinegar, cold water, a sponge or cloth, and laundry pre-treatment spray.

Pre-Treat the Stain

Before you do anything else, spray some laundry pre-treatment spray onto the stained area. Let it sit for a few minutes, then blot away any excess liquid with a clean cloth or sponge.

Make a Solution

In a container, mix one tablespoon of liquid detergent with two cups of cold water and one-half cup of vinegar. Stir the solution until it forms a lather - this will help break down the stain.

Apply the Solution

Using a sponge or cloth, apply the solution to stained area. Rub gently, being careful not to rub too hard (which can damage the garment).

Rinse the Garment

Once the solution has been applied, rinse the garment in cold water, being sure to rinse thoroughly. You may need to repeat this step a few times to ensure all of the detergent is washed away.

Repeat if Necessary

If the stain is still visible after first attempt, repeat the process until it is completely removed.

Wash the Garment

Finally, launder garment as normal, following the instructions on the care label. Air dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting.

Enjoy!

Your Tommy Hilfiger garment should now be free from crayon stains and ready to rock!
