Crayon stains can definitely be annoying but don't be too disheartened because they can be removed with the right strategy. Here are some tips on how to effectively get rid of crayon stains from your T-shirt:

  • Invest in some good detergent. Pick a detergent that works well for your type of fabric (consult the label for instructions) and use it as you would normally do to pre-treat your garment.
  • If you don't have detergent, you can also use baking soda to get rid of the stain. Make a paste with 3 parts of baking soda and 1 part of warm water and apply directly to the stained area. Let this sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
  • Don't forget to check the care label on the garment prior to washing. This will provide you with the best laundry instructions. If you are able to machine-wash the item, use a cold setting and mild detergent.
  • If you're worried that stain might not come out completely, try soaking the garment overnight in a mixture of detergent and warm water or vinegar and warm water.
  • Once done, simply rinse the shirt in cold water and hang it to dry.

And there you have it! You can now wear your favorite T-shirt again without any crayon stains.
