Start by taking the swimwear outside and shaking it vigorously to remove any excess crayon. Use a butter knife or other dull object to scrape away any remaining crayon residue from fabric.
Mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent, and 1 quart of warm water together in a bowl. The vinegar helps to break down crayon, while the liquid detergent helps to lift stain from fabric.
Apply the solution to stain and scrub gently with a soft brush or old toothbrush. Once the stain has been loosened, rinse the swimwear in cold water.
Wash your swimwear according to manufacturer’s instructions. This is important to ensure that all of the stain remover is removed. Hang your swimwear to dry and your swimwear should be good as new!
