Remove Crayon Stains from Sweater with Ease!

Crayons are a common source of stains on clothing. The wax-based material can be difficult to remove. Fortunately, there are some tried and true methods that make cleaning your sweater a piece of cake.
Method 1: Use Vinegar and Water
The most basic method for removing crayon stains is to mix equal parts white vinegar and water and then apply it to the stained area with an old toothbrush or rag. Allow the mixture to sit on the stain for a few minutes to break down the wax, then scrub the stain gently to loosen any remaining residue. Once you’ve finished scrubbing, use a damp cloth to wipe away mixture. Finally, launder garment as normal.
Method 2: Use Rubbing Alcohol
Another effective way to remove crayon stains from a sweater is to use rubbing alcohol. Start by pouring a small amount of rubbing alcohol directly onto stain. Allow it to sit on fabric for a few minutes, then use an old toothbrush to scrub the stain. Once the rubbing alcohol has been scrubbed into the fabric, rinse the garment with cold water. Afterward, launder the sweater as usual.
Method 3: Use Baking Soda and Water Paste
For tougher crayon stains, try mixing baking soda and water to form a thick paste. Apply the paste to the stain and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then, use an old toothbrush to scrub paste into the fabric. After scrubbing, rinse the garment with cold water and launder as usual.
