Crayons can leave behind bright and persistent stains on clothing, furniture, walls, and even slippers. If your slippers have fallen victim to an accidental crayon stain, don't despair - it's possible to remove them with a few household supplies. Here's what you need to do:

How to Clean Crayon Stains from Slippers

  • First, scrape off any excess wax or crayon residue using the dull edge of a butter knife.
  • Once the surface of slipper is clear, rub a small amount of liquid dish soap onto the stained area. Use a soft brush or paper towel to help work the soap into the fabric.
  • Fill a bowl or tub with lukewarm water. Submerge the slippers in water and allow them to soak for 30 minutes.
  • After soaking, gently scrub the stained fabric with a soft brush or sponge. Pay particular attention to the stained area.
  • Rinse slippers with clean water. Inspect fabric to ensure stain has been removed. If needed, repeat the steps above until stain lifts.
  • Once the stain is lifted, allow slippers to air dry.

It's important to note that these steps may not work for every type of slipper material. If the recommended methods don't work, consider taking them to a professional dry cleaner for additional help.
