Instructions
- Check label. The first step is to make sure you don’t ruin fabric by using a cleaning solution that’s too harsh. Check the label on the garment to see what instructions are provided for laundering.
- Spray the stain with a mild liquid soap. If the label does not indicate any special laundering instructions you can spray the stained area of the garment with a mild liquid soap. Let it sit for a few minutes so that the soap will have a chance to work on crayon stain.
- Mix white vinegar and baking soda. Mix equal parts white vinegar and baking soda together to create a paste. Apply the paste to the stained area and allow it to sit for about 10 minutes.
- Gently rub the area. Use a cotton swab or clean cloth to gently rub the area where paste was applied. This will help lift the crayon stain from the fabric.
- Rinse and repeat if necessary. Rinse the area with water and repeat steps 2-4 if necessary to remove the stain completely.
