- Lay the dress flat and scrape off as much of the crayon as possible with a butter knife.
- Blot the stain with a damp cloth to get rid of any excess wax. Do not rub the area.
- Mix some detergent with warm water and dip a clean cloth or sponge into this solution. Rub gently at the stain in a circular motion until the stain has disappeared.
- Add a few drops of ammonia to a cup of warm water and blot the stained area with it. Rinse dress with cold water.
- To finish, place dress on a flat surface and use a blow dryer on low heat to dry it.
