When it comes to removing crayon stains from rayon, first step is to gently scrape off as much of the crayon as possible using a dull butter knife or spoon. Try not to press too hard into the fabric, as this could damage or tear it.
Once you have removed as much of the crayon as you can, fill a basin or sink with warm water. Add one teaspoon of laundry detergent and a half teaspoon of ammonia to the water, and make sure everything is mixed together well.
Soak stained area of the fabric in mixture for around ten minutes, then rinse with cold water. Repeat this process until the stain is gone, then hang the fabric outside to dry in direct sunlight.
If the stain is still stubbornly clinging to the fabric, try applying a solution of rubbing alcohol and white vinegar directly to affected area. Let solution soak in for three to five minutes before gently blotting with a clean cloth. Rinse with cold water and repeat process if necessary.
And that's it! With a bit (or a lot!) of patience and perseverance, stubborn crayon stains on rayon become much easier to manage. Good luck!
