The first thing you should do is rinse the stained area with warm water and liquid detergent. This helps to gently loosen the crayon and get it to come off the fabric easier. Once you have rinsed the area, let the liquid detergent sit for around 10 minutes before washing the garment as usual.
Rubbing alcohol is another effective way of getting rid of crayon stains. Simply pour some rubbing alcohol onto a cloth and dab it onto the stain. Make sure to blot the stained area rather than rubbing it, as this can spread the stain further. After you have finished blotting, rinse the area with cold water and launder the garment as usual.
If all else fails, you can try using bleach to remove stain. To do so, mix one tablespoon of bleach with a cup of warm water and soak the stained area in the solution for around 10 minutes. Then rinse the garment with cold water and launder it as normal.
Crayon stains can be difficult to remove from your favorite rash guard, but with right methods, they don’t have to be. Try using warm water and liquid detergent, rubbing alcohol, or bleach to quickly and easily get rid of crayon stains.
