Removing Crayon from Fabric
- Start by blotting area with a damp cloth.
- If the crayon is oil-based, rub some laundry detergent or shampoo onto the spot.
- Leave it for 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
- After rinsing, add some white vinegar to a damp cloth and dab area, and rinse again.
- Launder the garment as you usually would.
- Finally, allow the clothing to air dry.
Using Iron-On Patches to Cover the Stain
- Purchase an iron-on patch that is larger than the stain.
- Position the patch over the stained area and follow the instructions of the manufacturer to affix the patch.
- Turn the garment inside out and place a cloth over the patch.
- Press the iron onto the fabric, applying pressure until the patch has adhered securely.
- Allow the garment to cool before removing the patch from garment.
