Step 1: Gather Supplies

You will need the following tools to successfully remove crayon stains from your purse:

  • Soft cloth
  • Mild detergent
  • Stiff brush
  • White distilled vinegar
  • Rubbing alcohol

Step 2: Removing the Crayon Stain

Start by gently blotting the stained area with the soft cloth. Blot in one direction only. Do not wipe or scrub as this may spread the stain further.

Mix a small amount of mild detergent with water to create soap solution. Dip stiff brush into the soapy solution and gently scrub the stained area. Once done, gently rinse off the soap and blot dry with the soft cloth.

If the stain is still apparent, mix one part white distilled vinegar with two parts of rubbing alcohol and apply it to the stain using the soft cloth. Again, blot in one direction only. If the stain is still visible after the application of the vinegar mixture, repeat these steps until you’ve achieved the desired result.

Step 3: Finishing Up

Once stain has been completely removed, rinse the area with clean water and blot dry with a cloth. Allow the purse to air dry completely. Do not put the purse in a dryer, as this can damage the fabric.

Conclusion

Removing crayon stains from purses can be a daunting task, but it doesn’t need to be. With the right supplies and a little bit of patience, you can easily get your purse back to looking like new again.
