Remove any excess crayon from the oxfords with a spoon or butter knife.
Place absorbent paper towels underneath the area of the stain
Apply a pre-wash stain remover such as Zout or Spray ‘n Wash to the fabric. Let it sit for five minutes before washing.

Cleaning with Detergent and Water

Once you have pre-treated stain, the next step is to wash the oxfords in hot water. If your oxfords are machine-washable, put them in the machine with a detergent that is safe for both the color of the oxfords and their fabric. For oxfords that cannot go in the washing machine, try this method:

Mix equal parts detergent and hot water.
