How to Remove Crayon Stains from Nike Shoes Quickly and Easily

Crayons are a great source of art supplies for children, but they can also leave behind difficult-to-remove stains on clothes and other surfaces, including Nike shoes. To ensure your Nike shoes look as good as new, follow these steps.
What You'll Need
- Dishwashing detergent
- White vinegar
- Cleaning cloth
- Non-gel toothpaste
- Baking soda
Instructions
- Gently scrape off any excess crayon with the edge of a spoon.
- Mix two tablespoons of dishwashing detergent with two cups of warm water in a bowl.
- Soak the cleaning cloth in soapy mixture and lightly scrub area with the crayon stains.
- Rinse off the area with cold water to remove the soap residue.
- If any stains remain, mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with one cup of warm water and soak another cloth in the mixture.
- Lightly scrub the stains with this cloth, then rinse the area with cold water.
- If the stains still linger, apply a non-gel toothpaste onto a damp cloth and gently scrub the area.
- Rinse the area once more with cold water, then dry the area thoroughly with a clean cloth.
- For stubborn stains, mix baking soda with water to make a paste. Apply the paste to the stained areas and scrub it in with a cloth.
- Rinse off the paste with cold water and let the shoe air-dry.
