Step 1: Clean off any Excess Crayon

Using a soft cloth or paper towel, gently wipe away any excess wax that is present on the surface. Be careful not to rub too hard in order to avoid damaging the fabric further.

Step 2: Apply a Soap Solution

Mix one teaspoon of a mild liquid dishwashing soap with two cups of warm water. Dip a clean cloth in solution and apply it to the affected area. Gently massage the solution into fabric and then allow it to sit there for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Blot Stain

Once the 10 minutes have passed, take a dry cloth and blot the area to absorb the soap solution and remove the stain. Be sure to use a gentle motion.

Step 4: Rinse with Clean Water

Rinse the area with a cloth dampened with cold clean water. This will help to remove any remaining soap residue.

Step 5: Allow the Area to Air Dry

Dry the fabric with a clean towel and then allow the area to air dry completely.
