Steps to Remove Crayon from Lingerie

  1. First, immediately scrape off as much Crayola as you can with a blunt instrument, like a butter knife or spoon.
  2. If the stain has had time to dry, dampen it with warm water and gently rub it with a soft bristled brush.
  3. Gently rub a small amount of liquid detergent or stain remover onto stained area with a white cloth.
  4. Carefully rinse the stained area with cold water until the stain disappears.
  5. Soak the garment in a sink filled with cold water and a capful of detergent for 15-30 minutes.
  6. Rinse the garment thoroughly and lay it flat on a clean towel in a well-ventilated place to air dry.
  7. Once the garment is completely dry, inspect the area for any remaining stain.
  8. If any trace remains, repeat Steps 2-7 until the stain is gone.

Additional Tips

  • Do not use hot water as this might cause the stain to set.
  • Always check label on your garment to ensure the stain removal product is suitable for use.
  • Only use a white cloth as dyes from colored cloths can transfer onto the garment.
  • Avoid using bleach as this can damage the fabric.
