  1. Wet stain with warm water and blot it with a soft cloth or paper towel. Do not scrub or rub the stain as this could spread the crayon further.
  2. Apply a mild detergent using a soft cloth or paper towel, working from the inside of the shoe towards the outside. Gently dab at the stain.
  3. Rinse the area with warm water until the detergent is gone. Blot with a soft cloth or paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  4. If the stain is still visible, dip the cloth or paper towel in vinegar and gently dab at the stain.
  5. Leave the shoe to air dry completely.
