The first step in successfully removing crayon marks from your Kate Spade bag is to gather the materials you'll need. You'll want to have the following items ready to go:
Once you have all of your supplies on hand, you can begin to work on removing crayon stain. You'll want to start by getting a soft cloth and dampening it slightly with the leather cleaning solution. Make sure that the cloth isn't dripping wet – this could damage your bag.
Then, lightly apply the cloth to the crayon-stained area. Move the cloth around gently but firmly for several minutes, making sure that entire area has been treated with the cleaning solution.
Now that the cleaning solution has had a chance to set in and loosen stain, you can use a soft bristle brush to remove remaining residue. Use the brush to gently rub the area in a circular motion for several minutes. This will help to loosen the stain and remove any remaining residue.
Once you're done brushing the area, you can use a hair dryer to thoroughly dry the area. Make sure that you're holding dryer at least six inches away from the bag to avoid damaging the fabric.
Finally, if any of the crayon residue remains after the first round of cleaning, you can re-apply the cleaning solution and repeat steps 2-4 until the stain is completely removed.
With just a few simple steps, you can have your Kate Spade bag looking like new again in no time! Good luck, and happy cleaning!
