Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Using cotton swabs, scrape off as much of crayon as possible. Make sure not to rub the stained area as this will only make stain worse.
  2. Apply a few drops of dry cleaning solvent to a cloth and dab it onto the stained area.
  3. Using an old toothbrush, lightly brush off any remaining crayon residue. Be careful not to rub too hard as this may damage the fabric.
  4. Mix a small amount of laundry detergent and water in a bowl. Dip the cloth into the mixture and dab it onto the stained area. Do not use too much water as this could cause the stain to spread.
  5. Rinse the stained area with cold water. Use a clean cloth to blot away the excess moisture.
