It doesn’t matter how careful you are, crayon stains can still show up on your favorite Gucci items. Whether the stains landed on fabric handbags, shoes, or clothes, the good news is that there are easy and effective ways to get rid of the mess.
Use an absorbent paper towel to blot away excess crayon, as soon as possible.
Mix some soap and water in a bowl, and use a soft sponge to gently scrub the stained area. Allow the mixture to penetrate fibers. If the stain is particularly stubborn, add a small amount of laundry detergent to the same solution.
If pre-treating with soap and detergent does not work, you may need to use a specialized cleaner, specifically designed to tackle tough crayon stains. Follow the instructions of the cleaner carefully, apply liberally to the stained area, and allow it to penetrate the fibers. Then, rinse off with cold water.
If the stain still remains after removing it with a cleaner, it may be necessary to soak the item in a lukewarm water and gentle soap solution for at least 30 minutes. Then, hand wash the item with a soft brush and rinse thoroughly.
Do not use strong heat sources like a blow dryer or clothing iron to dry the item. Instead, hang it somewhere to air dry.
