Step 1: Scrape the Area

If the area is still wet, use a butter knife to scrape off any chunks of crayon that may still remain. Be sure to scrape gently and not so hard that you damage material.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Mix together a solution of 1 part laundry detergent to 4 parts warm water. Dip a soft white cloth into the mixture and dab it onto the stain. Rub lightly in circular motions for a few minutes while the stain is still damp.

Step 3: Wash the Gloves

Place your gloves into the washing machine and set the temperature to warm. Add your regular laundry detergent and fabric softener to the load, and let it go through a full cycle. Check the gloves afterwards and if needed repeat this process.

Step 4: Dry the Gloves

Once the gloves have finished washing, hang them up to air dry. Do not put them in the dryer, as this can set the stain permanently.

Step 5: Enjoy Clean Gloves

Once your gloves are completely dry, you can enjoy wearing them again. With these five simple steps, you can easily remove crayon stains from your gloves with little effort.
