Removing Crayon Stains from Brocade
- Start by gently removing any excess wax with the edge of a dull knife or spoon.
- Carefully dab the stain with a damp cloth to dampen it.
- Mix a teaspoon of mild liquid detergent with a cup of lukewarm water. Dip a clean cloth in the solution and carefully blot the dampened stain.
- Mix a paste of baking soda and water and use a soft brush to lightly scrub the stain.
- If the stain persists, spray the area with hairspray and wipe away residue with a damp cloth.
- Soak a clean cloth in a solution of one tablespoon of white vinegar and 1/2 cup of cold water and dab the stain. Do not rub the fabric.
- Rinse the area with cold water and pat dry with a clean cloth.
