What You'll Need

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Dry cloth
  • White vinegar
  • Bowl of warm water
  • Liquid laundry detergent

Step 1: Blot the Stain

Before you begin, make sure you blot the stained area with a dry cloth to remove as much of the crayon as possible. Be careful not to rub stain, as this could make it worse.

Step 2: Use Rubbing Alcohol

Once you've blotted stain, apply some rubbing alcohol directly to the stain and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then, using a dry cloth, gently rub the stained area until crayon is gone.

Step 3: Apply Vinegar

If the rubbing alcohol does not work, try applying a small amount of white vinegar to the stain. Allow the vinegar to sit for a few minutes before blotting with a dry cloth.

Step 4: Wash the Boxers

Once the stain has been removed, put the boxers in a bowl of warm water with a few drops of liquid laundry detergent. Let them soak for at least 15 minutes before washing in the machine as usual.
