Crayon messes are tough to clean but it is possible. The key is to take action as soon as you notice the crayon stain. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to remove. Here are the steps you can follow to get rid of the crayon stain:
- Using a dull knife, scrape off any excess crayon from the fabric.
- Mix a mild detergent with warm water and dab the stain with a sponge or cloth.
- If stain remains, mix 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap with 2 cups of warm water. Rinse stain with this solution.
- If the stain persists, lightly rub a bar of white soap onto the stain and then rinse it with a damp cloth.
- Finally, if the stain has not been removed, mix a teaspoon of ammonia and a teaspoon of white vinegar in a cup of warm water and soak stain for 30 minutes. Rinse again.
After completing these steps, you should have your bodycon dress looking brand new!
