Removing Coffee and Tea Stains From Wallpaper
The first step in cleaning coffee and tea stains from wallpaper is to dab the spot lightly with a damp sponge. This will help to remove some of the liquid, making it easier to tackle the stain. For tougher stains, try applying white vinegar to the area with a cotton ball. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes before gently scrubbing the stain with an old toothbrush.
If the stain persists, mix one teaspoon of mild liquid soap with two cups of warm water. Apply the solution to stained area with a soft cloth or paper towel. Gently rub in a circular motion, being careful not to scrub too hard. Rinse area with warm water and then sponge dry.
