Mix together 1 teaspoon of detergent or baking soda with 1 cup of warm water. If you have shampoo on hand, use that instead. Once mixed together, dip a damp cloth into the solution and then use the cloth to dab at the stain.
Once you’ve dabbed at the stain with your solution-soaked cloth, use a brush or toothbrush to scrub the Van’s surface in circular motions. Continue to do this until the stain starts to fade.
Once the stain has been scrubbed away, rinse the area with warm water. It’s important to make sure that all of the solution is completely washed off, so be sure to rinse thoroughly.
Finally, let your Vans air dry. You may want to put them outside or near an open window for maximum drying power. Don’t attempt to use a hairdryer as this might damage the material.
You’ve successfully removed the coffee and tea stains from your Vans! With these simple steps, you can protect your favorite shoes from any unwanted stains.
