- Start by gently rinsing the stained area with cold water to try to remove any loose particles. Do not rub the stain.
- Make a paste by combining a small amount of water with a tablespoon of baking soda. Gently rub paste into the stain with a soft cloth.
- Allow the paste to sit on the stain for 15 to 30 minutes before washing the garment with laundry detergent.
- Rinse and then air-dry the garment.
You may need to repeat these steps multiple times until the stain has completely disappeared. If you have a machine-washable sports bra, you can add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the wash cycle in order to help loosen the stain.
