Method 1: Use Cold Water and Soap

The best way to treat fresh or new coffee and tea stains is to act fast. Immediately rinse the affected area with cold water and mild detergent. Make sure to test the fabric first to ensure the detergent won't damage or discolor it. Let the detergent set for about 5 minutes, then rinse the area again with cold water, blot the area dry with a paper towel, and hang the pants up to dry.

Method 2: Use Vinegar and Baking Soda

For older coffee and tea stains that won't come out with water and soap, try using vinegar and baking soda. Create a paste with the baking soda and white vinegar and spread it over the stain. Set it aside for an hour or two, then rinse the area with cold water and let it dry.

Method 3: Use Oxygen Bleach

For difficult-to-remove coffee and tea stains, using oxygen bleach is an effective solution. Prepare an oxygen bleach solution according to the package instructions, soak the sleep pants in the solution for a few minutes, then scrub the stain gently with a soft brush. Rinse area afterwards with cold water and let it dry. Repeat this process until the stain is gone.

Method 4: Take It to Dry Cleaner

If all else fails, you can always take the sleep pants to the dry cleaner. The pros will be able to remove the stain without damaging the fabric. However, keep in mind that dry cleaning isn't cheap so it's best to save this as a last resort.
