  • Wipe away excess liquid with a dry paper towel or wash cloth. Be sure to blot not rub so as not to spread the stain.
  • Mix a small amount of mild laundry detergent with a few drops of water until a paste forms.
  • Using a damp cloth, gently rub the paste onto the stain. Allow the paste to sit for 10 minutes.
  • Rinse the paste off shoe with cold water.
  • If the stain persists, mix a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts lukewarm water in a bowl.
  • Dip a clean cloth into the solution and dab the stain with the cloth. Do not rub.
  • Allow the solution to penetrate the stain for 10 minutes.
  • Rinse the area with cold water and allow the shoe to air dry.
