Removing Coffee and Tea Stains from a Shift Dress: Step-by-Step

  1. Soak the stained area of shift dress in cold water.
  2. Mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and cold water.
  3. Using a soft cloth, rub mixture into the stained area of the shift dress.
  4. If the stain is still visible, mix a solution of equal parts liquid laundry detergent and cold water.
  5. Dip a clean toothbrush into the solution and gently scrub the stained area.
  6. Rinse the shift dress with cold water and repeat if necessary.
  7. Launder as usual with cold water, and hang to dry.
