What You'll Need

  • Mild liquid laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Paper towels

Instructions

  1. Gently sponge affected area with cold water to loosen the stain.
  2. Mix together 1 teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent with 1 cup of cold water. Dip a clean paper towel into the mixture and lightly dab the stained area.
  3. After allowing the detergent solution to soak for 10 minutes, rinse the area thoroughly with cold water.
  4. For tougher stains, mix together equal parts white vinegar and cold water, then use a soft-bristled brush to work the solution into the fabric. Allow the vinegar solution to sit for 15 minutes.
  5. Rinse area again with cold water and allow to air-dry.
