Using Baking Soda

Baking soda is a great tool for removing stains from fabrics. To use this method, simply sift a generous amount of baking soda onto the stained area, making sure to cover it completely. Let the baking soda sit for at least an hour before brushing it away. The stain should have faded significantly. For stubborn spots, you can mix baking soda with warm water and gently dab the mixture on stain. Rinse the area with cool water after you’re done.

Using Vinegar and Water Solution

Using vinegar and water is another effective way to remove coffee and tea stains from your robe. You'll need to mix one part white vinegar with three or four parts water. Soak a cloth in the mixture and apply it to the stained area. Allow it to sit for several minutes before rubbing it gently. Rinse the area with cool water afterwards and repeat if necessary.

Using Detergent and Hot Water

For tougher stains, you may need to turn to a more powerful cleaning solution. Mix a few drops of detergent with some hot water. Dip a cloth into the mixture and rub the stained area. Do not scrub too hard or the fabric may become damaged. Rinse out the area with cool water afterwards, then hang the robe in a sunny spot to dry.

Additional Tips

If the stain is still visible after washing, try pretreating it with a stain remover before laundering as normal. Additionally, make sure to check the care instructions on your robe before applying any type of cleaner to it. Some fabrics may require special treatment.
