Step 1: Pre-Treat the Stains

Before laundering the swimsuit, pre-treat any coffee or tea stains with a stain remover or laundry detergent. Simply apply a generous amount of the solution directly to stained area, and let it sit for 10 minutes. This will help the stain come out a bit easier during the washing process.

Step 2: Wash the Swimsuit

Once the pre-treatment solution has had time to work, place the swimsuit in the washing machine. Make sure to use the delicate cycle setting, as this will ensure that your suit doesn't become damaged while being washed. Additionally, if you're using a washing machine, make sure to place suit in a mesh garment bag before starting the cycle.

Step 3: Air Dry the Swimsuit

When the washing cycle is finished, simply hang the one-piece swimsuit up to air dry. While it's drying, check to see if the stains have been completely removed. If not, repeat steps 1-3. If the stains have been removed, lay the suit flat on a clean towel, and let it continue to dry.

Schedule Regular Cleanings

To prevent more coffee and tea stains from appearing on your one-piece swimsuit, make sure to clean the garment regularly. Every few weeks, wash the swimsuit by hand or in the washing machine. Doing so will help keep your swimsuit in pristine condition throughout the summer months.
