Eliminate Coffee and Tea Stains from Muslin Easily
Muslin is a type of lightweight cotton fabric that is used for garment making, crafts, quilting, and even cooking. Unfortunately, coffee and tea stains can show easily on muslin due to its delicate nature. Luckily, getting those stains out doesn't have to be a difficult task.

What You Need
- Liquid detergent
- White vinegar
- Bowl
- Soft sponge
- Cold water
Instructions
- Mix a few drops of liquid detergent with a half-cup of cold water in a bowl.
- Soak affected area of the muslin in this solution for a few minutes.
- Mix two tablespoons of white vinegar with two cups of cold water.
- Using a soft sponge, rub the stain gently with this mixture.
- Rinse area with cold water and repeat as necessary.
- Let air dry.
Tips
- If you don’t have white vinegar, you can substitute a moderate amount of lemon juice.
- Make sure to use cold water, hot water can cause the stain to set further into the fabric.
- Do not use bleach on muslin.
