The first step is to blot the stain using a clean cloth or paper towel. This will help to remove as much of the excess coffee or tea as possible. Be sure not to rub the fabric too hard, as this may damage the delicate lace.
Mix together equal parts of dishwashing liquid, water, white vinegar and baking soda. Stir until all ingredients have dissolved.
Dip an old toothbrush into the cleaning solution and gently scrub stained area of lace. Work in small circles and avoid applying too much pressure. Once you have finished, rinse the area with cold water.
If the stain remains, mix together one tablespoon of salt and one tablespoon of white vinegar. Apply mixture directly to the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes. Then, rinse the spot with cold water and allow it to air dry.
